Tried and True Tutoring Webinar Thursday July 23rd 2020 at 6pm
Throughout the year, the PTSA provides families with opportunities to hear valuable insight from engaging speakers.
For example, one fall night last year, WHS Theatre was filled with students and parents interested in learning more about IVC. Topics covered included the Promise Program, Honors Curriculum and Financial Aid.
Then in the spring, Our fundraising partner, Tried and True Tutoring, hosted a valuable webinar: “Impacts of Coronavirus on College Admissions & Testing and How it May Affect the Class of 2021″. Topics discussed included the June SAT cancellation, how colleges might respond to these updates, and if and when students should take the SAT or ACT in 2020. Many families joined in and were served by this extremely timely and helpful event.
In the coming year, PTSA will work to provide valuable events like these, so please stay tuned.
